Kadhai Mushroom

Ingredients:

1. Mushroom – 200 gms.
2. Capsicum (shimla mirch) – 1 pc.
3. Onion (pyaj) – 2 pcs.
4. Tomato (tamatar) – 4 pcs.
5. Ginger (adrak) – 1 pc.
6. Garlic (lahsun) buds – 5-6.
7. Green chilly (hari mirch) – 3.
8. Salt to taste.
9. Red chilly powder (lal mirch) – 1/2 tspn.
10.Coriander powder (dhania) – 1 tspn.
11.Turmeric powder (haldi) – 3-4 tspn.
12.Spice blend (garam masala) – 1/2 tspn.
13. Clarified butter (ghee) – 4 tbsp.

Preparation:

1. Cut mushrooms into slices.
2. Cut capsicum into cubes.
3. Finely chop onions and tomatoes.
4. Grind ginger, garlic and green chilies.
5. Heat ghee in a pan and fry onions in it until it turns pink.
6. Then fry ginger paste for a minute.
7. Now put tomatoes and fry until ghee separates.
8. Put salt, red chilly powder, coriander and turmeric powder.
9. Now add mushrooms and simmer after adding 1/4 cup water.
10.Cook until mushrooms softens.
11.Then cook capsicum in it for 2-3 minutes and remove it from the flame.
12.Now sprinkle some spice blend.
13.Serve hot.
